Can I still claim?

Question
I have property expenses showing on my bank account but have lost the receipts. Can I still claim the expenses?

Arthur Weller Replies:
Yes, you can still claim the property expenses. However, if HMRC pick up your tax return and question you about the expenses, you will have to do whatever you can to provide them with replacement documentation, and if this proves not possible they may disallow your claim for these expenses.
